Singer Speed Darlington Regains Freedom After Over 2Months in Police Detention.

Nigerian Singer, Rapper and Performer Speed Darlington AKA Akpi was released today Tuesday January 21st 2025. He was arrested at his show in Owerri and bundled to Abuja where he was locked up and denied bail despite several court approvals of his bail applications.

He was locked up over alleged Defamation of Grammys Award Winning Nigerian Musician BurnaBoy. Although he had earlier Been released, but he was yet again rearrested acting on the order of the petitioner BurnaBoy.

Akpi’s Lawyer has reiterated that his team of lawyers would explore every legal means to ensure that His Client ‘Speed Darlington Akpi’ get compensated for the inhumane treatment he was subjected to. See his post below
